These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the HeyGuest platform and services (“HeyGuest”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By using our services, creating an event, or paying an invoice we issue to you, you (“you”, “the Client”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.
Where a quotation or invoice we provide refers to these Terms, acceptance of that quotation or payment of that invoice constitutes acceptance of these Terms for the event or services described.
HeyGuest provides an event management platform whose features may include guest list management, QR code invitations, attendee check-in (QR scan and manual), voucher issuance and redemption, lucky draws, and attendance reporting. The specific features made available to you are those described in your quotation or event setup.
Fees for the services are as agreed for each event or as set out in the quotation or invoice we provide (the “event fee”). Unless otherwise stated, invoices are payable by the due date shown on the invoice. Access to certain features may depend on the event fee being paid.
If something goes wrong with the platform during your event, our total liability to you is limited to a refund of up to 50% of the agreed event fee. Any such refund is payable only where, after we have evaluated what happened, it is determined that the issue was caused by our fault.
We are not responsible for any indirect or consequential financial loss arising in connection with the services — including, for example, loss resulting from incorrect redemption of vouchers, lost sales, lost revenue, or other costs that are not the agreed event fee itself.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We work hard to keep the platform reliable, but the services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted or completely error-free, and performance may depend on factors outside our control such as venue internet connectivity and the devices used at your event.
You are responsible for:
If you need to cancel or reschedule an event, please contact us as early as possible. Cancellation terms, including any portion of the event fee that is non-refundable, will be as set out in your quotation or as reasonably agreed between us.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and any disputes arising from them are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate any changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. The Terms that apply to your event are those in effect when you accept your quotation or pay your invoice.
